How to Use?
Using the Carved Colored Paper is a straightforward process. Here are the steps:
- Distinguish the Front Side – Make sure to place the color side upward when sticking the paper onto an object.
- Cutting Color Paper – Cut the paper to the desired size based on the content of the engraving.
- Soaking Color Paper – Place the cut color paper in water and let it soak for 1-2 minutes. After soaking, peel the colored paper from the backing.
- Stick on the Object – Keep the front side upward and use a scraper to remove any air bubbles or creases. Note that a scraper is necessary for this step. Dry the colored paper with a hairdryer before engraving.
- Prepare to Engrave – Place the object on the engraving machine and select the desired pattern. Pay attention to the direction of the pattern, as you may need to flip it if engraving horizontally.
- Start Engraving – Wait for the engraving process to be completed.
- Soaking the Color Paper – Soak the engraved object in water for 5 minutes after the engraving is complete. Full soaking helps to easily remove excess colored paper.
- Remove Excess Color Paper – Take out the soaked object and patiently remove the excess colored paper. A blade may be needed for this step.
